Piano Recitals of the 2022
American Matthay Association Festival
June 22, 23, 24 at 7:30pm
The Matthay festival is designed to offer participants direct and concentrated access to the teaching principles of Tobias Matthay. Sessions are devoted to the principles as they apply to teaching at all levels, including that of the performing artist. Daytime sessions include lectures, demonstrations, performances, and master classes. Click here for the full schedule.
Public recitals are held at the end of each day and feature nationally acclaimed pianists. The schedule of performers is:
June 22nd at 7:30pm: Janice Razaq performs works by Beethoven, Schumann, and Debussy
June 23rd at 7:30pm: David Abbott performs an all-Brahms program
June 24th at 7:30pm: Neil Rutman performs works by Bach, Poulenc, and Chopin
NOTE: Barry Snyder's recital on June 25th at 4pm has been cancelled on account of illness
